KawaNOW EASTERN REGION RALLY
Hey Guys and Gals,
I happened to look at the sorted list Trip talked about this morning. It looks like West Virginia may be about as central a location as any in our region. I have traveled back to there to visit family through the years. There are great roads for riding. We would need to figure out an area and check into lodging, area activities, etc. This is just an idea. Let's hear some feedback and other suggestions. I like the Poconos idea also. Let's roll it out Eastern Region! ![]() Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I used Trip's sorted list and made a spreadsheet of the folks in the Eastern Region. It looks like we have the largest number listed in TN and the Canadians in our region are next largest. Do you guys want to join the Eastern Region in a rally or are you all going to plan your own in Canada? I say the more the merrier. Just let us know.

West Virginia, Charleston or Bluefield area??? Lots of good roads to play on there and lodging.
Tennessee....Nashville is 'kinda' central..plenty to do there....most will get to ride through some nice roads getting there... Any place is fine with me. Let me know if I can help! :)

Pocahontas County has some good roads too. I was born in Charleston. I'm game for just about anywhere.

If I could, I would. I have stitiches in two fingers right now on my brake hand. If you come across something while you're there, post it. The state parks are usually great places to stay. They are alcohol free though if that has any effect on anyone staying there.

Pennsylvania seems like a good place. I was there in July with the National Guard, Harrisburg area, great country roads. Amish country in the area too. That would be about a 10-12 hour ride for the wife and I. We could go further but not anytime soon. Next year maybe. It's going to be getting cold up here very soon. Wife doesn't ride in cold.

I am bumping this thread up also......put a post on the other one to come to this one.
West Virginia and Pennsylvania both have some beuatiful country. As far as cold weather - we're talking about a 2008 rally right? Would May -June be good?
