Rally decisions

So, being the noncommittal, spur of the moment type, I still haven't decided if I should go to the Western Rally, or the Central.

If I went to the central rally, I'd get to color in a bunch of states on my map. I do like heading out into the unknown, and seeing things for the first time is a lot more interesting for me. I love novelty and new, better than same old, same old.

If I went to the Western Rally, I'd not be coloring in any states, I'd be seeing the same rides that I have done many times prior, but it is also some of the best riding that I've ever seen. And Zions Park is my all time favorite motorcycle spot.

So, how does one decided? It is getting to the point where I better choose something.

Do both! :)
That'll check out your iron butt abilities! And your ability to be in two places at the same time!

Oh sure BD, let him off the hook. Does Dan owe you money or something?

Actually, I understand the need to color in more states. Do what you think is best. Go where you feel the closest ties to the Nomad owners in that particular region. Don' t worry about us. We will be just fine. We are all adults here and will not, well I'm pretty sure that we won't, hold a gudge.

Just be safe. Idaho

I guess we'll know who he likes the best by where he decideds to go J/K

Obviously, You're welcome at ours, Just don't expect anything fancy. All I'm looking at it as, is a chance for some friends to get togather and go for a little ride, so if you come don't come with high hopes.

It'll be a lot easier in 09, just one Rally in Custer!

I know I'm different that a lot of you when making a decision on where to go on a trip. Most of you have known for months where you are going.

When I went on a 3,800 mile trip, I didn't know where I was going until the morning of each day. I'd look at the atlas and decide that morning. The spontaneous side of me is pretty strong.

It just makes it a lot tougher when you want to be in two places at the same time.

I'm mostly just thinking out loud, not that I'm really going to let anyone decide for me :)

Rally decisions

On my last vacation, totally unplanned for three weeks, I sat at an intersection for 45 minutes because I couldn't make up my mind which way to go. Finally reached in my pocket, took out a coin, and flipped it. Had a nice couple of days in Yellowstone because of it. Sounds to me like you are getting to that point!

Dan,
You'd get a lot more color on your map if you went to the eastern rally. ;)

Been there, done that.

As far as my expectations for the weekend. That we all arrive safe and sound, to and from our trips.
