1500 lightbar wiring

I bought a used 1500 lightbar, the ones with turn signals stick out.I think they are the F&S ones. It has the wiring harness and all the lighting wire is hooked up with the ends having the connecting pins. My question is did this set up come with connectors that you are supposed to plug in the factory lighting? I did a little search on here but didn't see much regarding this. Thanks for any help I get.

I can not help much , but check your state laws on running light's, some require that running light's shut off automatically when you switch to high beam. My Lights are off a Honda and I hard wired them in . The gear heads should pop in soon and may be able to give you a better answer. Have you tried the Company web site for a instruction sheet?

There is no plugs on the bike for it to pug into, thats something you have to run wires for and connect yourself. There is a good how to in our tech section that shows in detail how to do this.

Got the lightbar hooked up this afternoon. It was not a bad deal since the new to me lightbar has the same connection ends as the factory turn signal plugins. The first picture is the lighting system I had, using Gadgets page and the second picture is the lightbar I replaced it with. Cant put the larger lowers back on with this lightbar so the bike is going to look naked until I cut the top the lowers down and reinstall them.

I'm looking at making my own light bar as well, was there a problem with your old setup that made you swap it out? Why the preference for a F&S bar vs the one you made? Just asking to avoid any similar problems when I decide to make my own

To me the only light bar setup that looks good is the one Chuckster makes.

I just liked the look with the F&S lightbar. I made the first want because I did not want to pay what lightbars are going for, specially for the 1500's. It worked good for me but when I found this deal for this lightbar I went for it.

Doyle, I know you are not a fan of these light bars since you traded a guy your lightbar for the stock set up so you could get chucksters. If mine was a 1600 I would have traded you for it too.

Bob, I did like the setup I had at first too and it did what I wanted it for but I prefer the look of this one.
