Progressive 440 13" question ?

I am going to put the Progressive 440-2413 hd on my nomad ( they have to be made to fit I know ) This shock is for the vulcan classic !
So I my question is what to do to make it fit? I know about Gadgets fix. I would like to hear from someone who has done this shock change themselves. Thanks Caper------Donnie

Pm me if the explanation is long :):):)

Progressive 440 13" question ?

Call Progressive, they will sell you a piece that adapts the top of the shock to the 1600 mount.

Scott, a buddy of mine in TX found out the hard way that if you don't have it you can break the stud.

Some have made their own bushing for the top mount.

Progressive 440 13" question ?

When with the 416's 13" for the Valkyrie - it came with the proper sizes bushings ( many sizes in kit) and the only thing was to add washers as needed to capture the eyeltes as they are smaller length. I am very happy with them and the bike has never ridden so good! Plus, with the trailer and ole lady on board the bike doesn't bottom out now. Before even at max pressure the damn thing would bottom out on big bumps but also would ride rough at that pressure!
