Self diagnostics

ok.... I don't remember where I seen it... but there was a self diagnostic for the Nomad. Anyone remember where to find it? My Nomad has been sitting for the better part of 9 months and I went to start it today with no love. Fresh fuel.... New battery.... Choke out..... half a handfull of throttle.... NOTHING. My two red lights on the bottom right of the speedo box are on.... so I wanted to see what the hell was going on! I just got the bike legal today and no love!

This site IS a diagnostic. Why don't you tell us more about the problem. Will it crank but not start? Does it do anything when you push the starter? Is the bike in neutral? have you checked the clutch switch? And mods that could affect it?

Down load the shop manual in the garage section. Section 3-22 tells you how to read the dfi self diagnosis. A little more info might help the guys help you. Year of bike, does nothing mean the engine does not crank, does the speedo cycle when you turn the key etc?
