Mapping for Mileage and Power

I've seen some posts here about getting a bike dyno'd for a mileage setting as well as power. I have an '05 with V&H Baggers, PCM III and a Baron Air Kit. I had it dyno'd and of course the mpg dropped as the power increased. I know I've read others talk about getting the bike mapped for mileage too. When I talked to the dealership today, the service mgr only talked about mapping the bike for power.

Is there another part I have to get in order to map for mileage too? Or can it be mapped under the current setup? The more info I can get, the better.

I don't know if they can map for mileage exclusivly, The Dyno reads HP at different RPM's. If they find it gets better mileage I think its just luck unless they have done many tests and log the results for each bike. I assume its possible, but with a lot of trial and error. Just my opinion.

PCM III's can be mapped for mileage. They will set the air fuel at about 14 to 1 across the board and 12 to 1 under full throttle. Look around for a shop that knows how to do this.
