Dyna Beads

Anybody ever used Dyna Beads for balancing their motorcycle tires? Truckers have been using them successfully for years. I've heard that many GW owners use them and they work well and prevent cupping. Just thought I'd check and see if anyone has ever used them on a Nomad.

I haven't personally Trip, but I've ridden with some that swear by them.

It's well worth the time to look at their website. I've got a friend that's thinking about using the beads on his next set of tires for his GW. Might be worth looking at.

do you take off your weights and just hope the beads balance the tires?? Interesting idea.

Hey Doc,
It looks pretty simple. According to the website you take the weights off, remove the valves, pour in the beads, put the valves in and air up the tire. All for about 13 bucks. I'm going to try it.

I read somewhere awhile ago that the beads can mark up your rims inside from rattling around until you are moving fast enough. I just read this and don't know this for a fact. It may be wise to check into this further before installing them in your wheels.I do know from experience that some of the liquid flatproof products do pit the rims inside and make an awful mess when its time to change tires. It seemed like a good idea to install flatproof but i'll never do it again.

The beads are really tiny. The go into the tire through the valve stem. I would think they would act like a polishing media.
