SNOW in Wyoming

Snow in Wyoming this morning and a freeze warning in South East Idaho for tomorrow morning. Winter is creeping in. Anyone know where I can get studded tires and outriggers? :(

Gee, thanks Beezer. When we get snow on the road so that I can't ride the bike I throw the pontoon boat on top of the Bronco and go fishing. No crowds in winter. That is some consolation.

SNOW in Wyoming

I love the snow and winter but since I ride a Nomad I dont want any bad weather keeping me off it. here in center TX as basco said we have a whole 1 mo of winter and I ride about 12 mo a year to work. Doesn't matter what the temp. i ride. Gut up men, let's ride.

I worked at the University of San Diego in '77. I resurfaced their slate chalkboards. Took a bus up to Black's Beach. Got Coor's beer cheaper than the East Cast price. Slept in my first waterbed. Chick looked like Karen Valentine from Room 222. She drove a VW microcamper.

SNOW in Wyoming

Every Memorial Day weekend we have what is known as a Spud Run where Blue Knights from all over the west and Canada meet in Boise. Last year we left Pocatello and drove north to Challis then west along the Salmon River to Stanley. It was wet so we stopped in Stanley for lunch and to dry out a bit. When we left we ran into rain and as we climed the pass it turned to snow. Winshield was plastered white. I'm wondering what in the world we were doing out there. Don't mind cold, as long as the thermometer is north of 17 degrees I ride. What I don't do is ride on snow and ice. Give me dry roads in winter and I'm good.
