Kudos to those who got involved. Hope he comes out of it OK.
Another good reason to not lay the bike down if a collision is unavoidable. After seeing that I think I would rather go over than under a car. At least that way one could brake and scrub off some of the speed before contact.

Yeah, I saw that on this mornings news.
They said he was in stable condition.

One of the Salt Lake newspapers said the BMW pulled out in front of him, the rider tried to go around the car to avoid a collision. Guess it didn't work.
