Hyw Pegs for 2005 Nomad

Have recently purchased a 2005 Nomad with engine guard. Would like to install Hyw Pegs. I am 5'6" and have been looking in catalogs at Kuryakyn pegs. Any suggestions about hyw pegs would be helpful. Looked in the threads and could not find a discussion on this subject. Thanks for the help

These are the ones I'd recommend and also the cheapest place I have seen them for sale.

Hyw Pegs for 2005 Nomad

Hi Jim

I am glad you signed up. It was great meeting you today!

Many of the members mount their hwy pegs so they can rest their heals on the floor board and toes on the highwat pegs. That effectively gives you 3 possible positions 1)heal + toe on OEM board,2) heal on board w/toe on hwy peg, 3) feet entirely on Hwy peg.

I bought the cheap ($35) Bike Master pegs. Not as cool as the Kury's but I just use to rest heel/toe for change in position. Have held up well for 3 years but dirt does collect between the o rings Here is what they look like;

Good luck and welcome to the Nomad Nation.

P.S. When you get some time you might want to add a pic of your bike and type the year in your sig line so others know what year bike you have during discussions. No rush.

Welcome from Ohio. Kuryakyn's are the way to go. Allow for the most customization for fit and comfort in my opinion.

Welcome from the Grand Canyon State! I also recommend the Longhorns (and I don't mean that sissy football team from Texas)

Welcome from Pennsylvania. Still considering what highway pegs might suit me best so can't offer an opinion yet.
