Performed Preventive Maintenance Today

Rainied most of the afternoon and I decided to do a little preventive maintenance on the Nomad.

First, I used some 3 in 1 oil and oiled the sidstand spring real good. Must say it now works better than it ever has. I had used dry lube before but the 3 in 1 oil did a much better job.

Second, I checked the air in the tires. Front tire was down 1/2 pound. Brought it back up to 41 pounds. Rear tire was down about a pound, brought it back to 41 pounds.

Third, I took apart the box that houses the starter button and throttle cables. Used the 3 in 1 oil and gave the throttle cables a good oiling. Made sure everyting was lined up correctly and then tightened everything real snug.

That was caused by the small hiss of air when you check the pressure.
