How Many?

Question...
Is there a legal limit to how many headlights, Spotlights, lights in general, you can have running at the same time in the front of a motorcycle?
I had a guy here in Ohio tell me that we can only have 3 including the factory headlight.
Obviously this is a general question since there is a lot more to be considered in light of power/amps and such but I am curious.
Thanks

If there is some limit, it would most likely be state regulated. So Ohio may differ from Arizona which differs from Texas, etc...

A.B.A.T.E. of PA successfully lobbyed and had legislation that permits any additional lighting on a motorcycle in Pennsylvania. That said, it has to be DOT approved lighting. Of course like mentioned above each state is different.

Depends on the state. There are several websites with motorcycle laws, they usually include it along with the other requirements.

Arkansas law says no more than 2 headlights.
I don't know what the difference between spotlights and headlights are.
Lots of people, including me have two spotlights.

The only lighting law here that I know of is, that you can't run your high beam and spots/driving lights at the same time. I can run a low beam headlight and my spots at the same time but not with the high beam on. <s>I'm wired </s>The bike is wired so when I switch to high beam, my spot/driving lights go out. That's it as far as I know. Oh! and no blue lights of any kind. Not even the small blue dot that's available in some tail light and turn signal lenses.
