Gel Pad for passenger

Awhile back I wrote something about since adding risers, my seating is more erect (same the comments) and as a result, my wife now only sees the back of my helmet when we ride together. I thought that perhaps a gel pad might made a difference in seat height for her. Thoughts or (relevant) comments? Also reliable sources for gel pads.
Thanks.

I have never tried a gel pad but Saddelman seats sell gel pads.

Ken, I just bought a gel seat from Walmart $19.99, haven't used it yet but alot of guys swear by it. I dont think it would raise her that much higher, as it is only about 2 inches thick.

PS, she could fold it in half and sit on it, hey for that money it seems like a good deal.

Walmart is a bit far from here.....and I'm not sure that one pad would do the trick....Will probably have to opt for a different/new passenger seat built higher than the stock.

I think you should just relax more when you ride.

You could take the seat to an upholstery shop and have them re upholster it as thick as you want.

My wife Princess Poofyass, has always complained about the seats on the various bikes I've had. I bought a gel pad from Butt Buffers thinking it would "end" her problem. Nope, she refused to use it after just one outing. I tried it, and found that it works for me at the beginning of a ride, but not after a couple of hours.
