99 Nomad Custom (carb model)

Hate to do it, but I think I'm going to have to sell the Nomad. It's been a great bike for me and extremely fun to customize. It has 15,xxx miles on it right now. I'm asking $7000 OBO. Take a look at all the extras and if you have any questions please feel free to ask. Here is a link to some pictures (the seat in the pictures is no longer on the bike, it's now a stock seat that has been modded). The bike is located in Dublin, Ohio. If you have any questions please email me at k.patterson1113@gmail.com

Actually, it looks like red and purple. $7000.00 seems high to me, but maybe some one will pay it. High retail is $4130.00. All the add ons are now used add ons. JMHO

It's a very beautiful bike, but at almost $3K above bb, it's gonna take a very motivated buyer to move it, especially being a carbed bike.

Unfortunately, the add-ons add little value to a bike. You'd be better off restoring the bike to stock, then selling the add-ons separately. I know you probably don't want to hear that, but that's reality. Good luck, though and I hope you find a buyer.

Have to agree with the others...I've been seeing 2006-2007's for the same money, and add ons never bring what you pay for them. Best of luck however, the more they sell for the more ours are worth!

That might be the reason Steve. I didn't think of that. I was wondering why the price seemed a little steep.

When you have a price of whatever amount and then say or obo. Does that mean if I offered a dollar and it was the only offer the bike should then be mine, right?

Some guys seem to shoot high and see if anyone bites. To me a b/o is any reasonable offer, unless you absolutely have to sell at any price.

I think if I were selling I would have an asking price and that would be my price. Take it or leave it.

Paid less than 4000 for mine last year and it's pretty well dressed.

I appreciate all the feeback fellas. Fact of the matter is that I don't need the money and I am willing listen to offers. Nope, my chrome isn't silver plated :) but it is chrome, done by Gateway Xtreme, who also done all the chrome work on my VTX. "Pretty well dressed" doesn't include chrome wheels, forks, switch housings, etc. While I understand add-ons don't bring a ton of money a mint condition bike will bring more than a bike with say 30K miles on it. Like the ad says, OBO, so I am willing to entertain offers. I know $7000 is high, so if you have cash and want to make an offer, please do. However, this bike isn't a stock bike and is worth more than the BB, 3K more, nope we all know that. :)

(on a side note, I appreciate those of you who have made positive comments in regards to how nice the bike is. I truly have put a ton of effort, love and money into this machine and it will make a great bike for someone at the right price)
