The Bomb is ticking. Will we find the will to stop it or will be let it go off?

Dont think "We" have much choice in what "They" say "we" all want anymore...... despite overwhelming polls.... doesnt matter, "they" will do what "they" want.

We need to follow the Unions lead and push for a recall on Bom Bom....

2037 is optomistic thinking. This country will not make it to 2037. The politicians have gotten us into so much debt there is no way we can ever get out from under it.

I have recognized this mess coming for years, my buddies thought I was nutz. Scares the crap out of me because I don't think the politicos have the will to do anything about it.

We got to stop these wars and quit policing the world. It is bankrupting us no matter who is our President. I cuss and rant every time I hear some congressman or senator wanting us to get involved in some other country's problems. People must think I am developing turrets.

Which brings us to the impending Fed. Govt. shutdown. The hand wringers are crying what will we do, what will we do. Maybe with a little luck spend less money.

However, of course it's the Republican's fault for not being adults and spend more money that we're taking in.

If the Democrats were so worried about a budget why didn't they pass one last year when they could have rammed through anything they wanted to just like the Healthcare program. Gutless. Should take a page from Paul Ryan's notebook on telling it like it is.

There does seem to be a large amount of insanity in everything Obama, Reid, Pelosi and the Dems are using as excuses to try and blame the Republicans doesnt there.....
Amazing but true "you cant make this sh*t up" stories from the saga of the left still doesnt get it continue's.

Said it before and will say it again, they are either intent on trying to destroy America or they are destroying it cause they are just dumber than a box of rocks.

Some of the insanity that goes on in Washington, they make Charlie Sheen look downright docile. . .

I'm with you Bill, every dime we spend propping up some foreign gubmint whose people hate our guts is another dollar we have to borrow from China. Why dont we cut out the middle man and let China police them, They have the Billion plus citizens and unrestricted printing presses to do it. Draw back to the borders and except our closest allies (I think we can count them on one hand with a finger left over) tell the rest: The goose that laid the golden egg is dead. Dont call us, we'll call you.

Can't say I am for shutting the government down, but it will just be like Ohio has done for the state employees, telling them to take a two week furlough without pay to save the state money. Only difference with a federal shutdown now will be that they all take the furlough at the same time, and the longer it is shut down the more it saves I suppose

Bring the boys home from the Mideast let them sort their own problems out and protect our borders flush out those that do not belong no matter where they come from and quit paying out billions to illegals and following the laws to the constitution and see how quick the national debt drops

That is not the way it worked last time. In 1995 there was a 3 week shut down. 800,000 Federal employees did not work. All 800,000 got paid. Late, but paid. Sooo, billions spent on a 3 week vacation.

Trump 2012

Whether you agree with him or not (I do), you must admit it is so entirely refreshing to hear someone actually tell you what they think and share in the common sense ideas so many Americans believe in. Real politicians won't ever do that as they try to constantly walk the fence and cater to their special interest groups.

Donald Trump will put this country first, militarize our border (finally), kick China in the sack, keep more of our foreign aid dollars to aid ourselves (Katrina victims, etc.). He will once again lead the US to the top of the hill where we belong.

You don't have to wonder where the guy stands on issues and he will swallow other candidates in upcoming debates as they struggle to be as honest and forthright as he will be. Most importantly, I believe he will do just as he says, unlike the pretender who is in office currently. Just sayin'.......it's about freakin' time!
