At my last job I believe they called it diversity. I doubt it will ever work but they keep trying.

Multiculturalism is the Lefts rubber spined perversion of the old melting pot from America's past. The difference is that the great Melting Pot formed everyone into an American with common language and pride in a country that gave them all a chance to succeed.

Multiculturalism mis-states that and allows people to live within their own isolated spheres of secluded cultures without any pride in or allegiance to the county that they live in. Very dangerous.

Where I work we had to go through diversity training during orientation. I literally laughed my ass off because our diversity trainer treated everyone like we were hick klansmen that never set eyes on anything other than white. All I can say is, not being from Iowa, I thought it was insulting to Iowans. It goes further, we are supposed to go to lunch and learns that count towards our cultural competence, which is part of our review process. Yes, part of being a network administrator is being culturally competent. I don't want to give unfair advantage to the white bits against any other colored bits. It's totally stupid. So, I never go to these lunch and learns. They really can't make me. Usually it's GBLT or some other group that claims it was pissed on. Where I am from every damn ethnicity is represented and the bottom line was money. Who gives a crap where you are from, you're there to do a job. JMFUO. Of course that wouldn't be popular where I work.

The only thing that saves me is that being a state agency, is that employees are protect in their creed, among other things. They can't screw with me because I don't think like they do. Of course there are consequences, like never getting ahead, but it's like being in re-education camp at times. At times I feel like I am more in a perverted adult day care in Greenwich Village than an educational agency in Iowa.

On the flipside there's millions of people that have moved to all different countries and work hard and buy nice things and fit right into their new way of life....
On the news, though, we only get to hear about the few nasty ones that preach hatred and try to blow things up or just generally live off the welfare system without contributing anything and I think that's what divides the cultures. I could be wrong though.

Cant disagree with you on that one, we have lots of politicians passing lots of laws based on a small minority, but brought to us in views that its a very large majority......thats how things get done in the world (and America for sure)

"We have been too concerned about the identity of the person who was arriving and not enough about the identity of the country that was receiving him," Sarkozy said.

That statement says it all...

Average yearly pay for a bus driver in the USA is $23,000.00 to $36,000.00. Good luck...
