Drop the Kumbyia's, group hug and understanding..... here's a solution that works..... and would deter further problems if every nation did it (IMHO)

Lived in South Korea during 3 one year unaccompanied tours. Those guys are very tough. They did an excellent job and that was the way it should have ended. The only better ending would have been if they killed all the pirates.

I was stationed at Osan 75-76.... they were some bad MF'ers for sure. You surely didnt want to get on their bad side.
