Last Ride on My Nomad Today....

for the year 2010. Actually got in two good rides today. Temp was close to 70 and felt really great. We are going to pay tonight though as there is a possibility of severe weather. Hopefully the Lord will look out for us.

It was nasty here with on again / off again rain throughout the day. Temperature was in the 70's.

Its 46 here and I even got out for a short run. Most of the snow has melted today. I'll work on the bike a bit more tomorrow.

Tomorrow looks like a wash out with all the rain coming into our area, but if there's a break.. I'M GONNA RIDE!!

Good thing I got my ride in as it came a flood around 8 PM. Looks like more rain and possible bad weather tonight. Good chance of rain tomorrow so guess I won't have a New Years ride.

Here's what it was like yesterday in Colorado Springs.

There were about a dozen of these all over town. Still amazes me how some people really have no idea how to drive on slick streets.

That street looked pretty icey, 4x4's couldn't even get up there. Sometimes its the car in front of that also causes stuff like that to happen as well.

Great video Daryl. I drove in the Springs for three years and I never had a problem. Of course most of my driving was on I-25 and they kept it pretty clean.

I noticed one of truck sliding back down the hill and his brakes were locked. Worst thing you can do on those icy conditions. He should have taken his foot off the brake. Once you are sliding with your brakes locked you are just going to continue the slide.

Looks similar to Colorado here in Idaho. World is white and very, very cold. No riding in sight for for a couple of months.
