Damnned MOOSE

I just about hit another moose last night! I had been away. down ta' Mass for a Paleo man shoot. The shoot was to assist in the promotion of a book an old friend has written.

I was my self there running around in the cold wind half naked with spears and lots of paint.

The day before getting tool stone I left at another friends house long before I saw a magnificent Bull Moose in the woods in day light.

Last night I didn't see the moose untill almost impact. I hit the brakes hard, swore and swerve the Dodge Conversion van just missing this moose. I was so scared I shook the rest of the way home, apx 10 miles more and drove 35 mph.

Today my whole body hurts. This has gotta stop!

Had I hit that moose, probably I would have been killed by one of my own flint tipped spears in the back of my head.

The van contained lots of other stone tools, my skins, paint in gords, and every thing a paleo hunter would want. The cops would have had a great time.

I know the feeling. After multiple crashes with furry woodland creatures, the mere sight

of one becomes unsettling. :-[ :'( :-/

Nuther shot. I wasn't the one(s) behind the cameras, and that wind was nasty. I hope they got what they wanted.

I was lame over my body yesterday for the fear that moose set into me. A skidding 3/4 ton van is just no fun.
