Dyna Beads - everyone should have them!!

I got around to putting Dyna beads in the front tire last night. I put them in the rear over a month ago but didn't buy enough for the front, only bought 1oz. I still have the stock front tire with 11K on it, so I pulled off the weights and poured in 2 oz of beads.

OH MY GOSH!!! AMAZING!!!

It literally felt like I was riding on air today. This is the same feeling I had when the bike was brand new and I was moving from the extremely stiff suspension of a Goldwing 1800. I can't believe how out of balance the front tire must have been to have the Dyna beads make this big of a difference.

If you don't have Dyna beads, don't wait for new tires to get them. They can make a huge difference in your existing worn tires that probably need to be rebalanced anyway. Funny how we balance car tires on regular intervals but we only balance motorcycle tires when we first put them on.

I could not stop talking about how smooth my Nomad rode today. I know I convinced at least one person to put them in their stock tires.

Dan get a new ft tire will ya.... That brick is junk, it has been junk since it sat on the show room floor. You think the beads did good, just wait til you get a real tire.

You should get them ASAP Gene. Dyna Beads are to tires what breast implants were to Anna Nicole.

She said the same thing you said except not about the Dyna Beads.

Normally I replace both tires when the stock rear goes but money was tight and I was being a cheap bastard. I've never tried to get the max miles out of a stock front before so I figured why not try it. I need tires on my car so a new front for the Nomad isn't going to happen this year.

Dyna Beads - everyone should have them!!

Yesterday I found something interesting....
Recently I ordered a new front tire and enuf Dyna beads to do the back as well.
I was inspecting the old front tire and rim to see how it comes off and found that there is no wheel weights on the front rim...NONE?
This is the old stone, wouldn't ya think there would be a weight some where?
I know the odds of it being balanced true without weights is slim to none...
There aren't even any marks where the weights would have been even if it might have fallen off.
Is this odd or did someone (me included I guess) screw up?
I can't believe that after as many times I have cleaned the front rim and tire I did not notice this....
Heck maybe once I pull off the old tire I might find Dyna Beads in it....

Dyna Beads - everyone should have them!!

This forum is the first place that I heard of Dyna-Beads. I'm looking at tire replacement in the near future. I've seen lots of info on back tires and Dyna-Beads, anyone got some input on front tire recomendations??? My choice for the back (so far) will be Goodyear's Tripletread 205/60R-16.
