All those accessories??

Just reading the Stebel horn thread and didn't want to hijack it.

I currently have my GPS, Speaker amplifyier, and trailer lights connected to my battery. I will probably get a stebel horn next and perhaps something else (Heated gear, or something.) I am having a problem with screwing in the positive terminal now. Is the solution to get a longer bolt or is there some multiplug gizmo that can handle all the accessory wires that are wired into the battery that I could get? Each of the items listed have an inline fuse so I don't think an auxillary fuse box is necesary but it is getting crowded.

I'd recommend an auxiliary fuse box, for a few reasons.

1. Single power connection powers multiple devices. You won't need a longer battery bolt to stack a half inch of terminals on top of each other.

2. Ease of trouble shooting - All your fuses are in one central location. Ditch the individual inline fuses to each device.

3. Overall appearance - using a fuse block makes for a neat, clean install.

I have 2 of these on my Nomad and it really makes tracking down device electrical issues a snap.

A longer bolt will work if thats about all you will ever add, but like Scott said, its best to add another fuse panel. They make them so that some are constant power, as well as switched power, all in the same panel.

I bought a Centech and used a separate relay but if I had seen this one before, I would have probably tried this one:

I am also looking at buying a Stebel horn, does anyone know the difference between a Stebel Nautilus Compact Motorcycle Air Horn - Chrome and a Stebel Nautilus Compact Motorcycle Air Horn NovaChrome? Other than about 25 buck$?

The only difference I see is the NovaChrome one has embossed writing on the circular part.
