Raising money for Multiple Sclerosis

Hi guys! I'm trying to raise money for the Oklahoma Multiple Sclerosis society. Their largest fund-raising event is next month, Sept. 25 & 26. I will be riding my bicycle from Tulsa to Oklahoma City along Historic Route 66! Last year there were 800 cyclists that participated in the event raising just over $500,000!

The ride starts in downtown Tulsa, follows Route 66 to Chandler, where we eat dinner and camp for the night. Then on Sunday, the 26th, we leave Chandler and ride into OKC and finish at the State Capital building. The route is approximately 140 miles which is divided between the two days. We leave at 7:30 each morning and will ride for about 5-6 hours each day.

I'm inviting everyone to participate by helping me raise money for the event and coming out to cheer me on. My goal is to reach $1500 before the ride and I'm currently at $910 as of this morning. Also, the committee does use some motorcyclist to help out on the route as safety personnel. Let me know if you would like to help out and I can put you in contact with the "powers that be" to see what they need.

No, no motor for this trek. All leg power! :)

Any of you guys in the area that would like to use your motorcycles and be escorts and safety personnel, let me know. The MS society is in dire need of a few motorcyclists to help out along the route. I think my dad may use mine to help. All food and drink is provided for you and camping at the overnight rest stop in Chandler, OK. The group that helped last year did a great job and had a lot of fun!
