I would think they would but not really sure. They are both 1600 engines, right? If so it should work. I am sure others will help out with this.

2006 of 2007 same thing, just different colour tins, part numbers the same for both so one will fit on the other.

Oddly perhaps but the 1500 and the 1600 can share exhausts. Whole thing will fit either engine. This is one of the few things that will swap with no mods what so ever.
So sure the 07 exhaust will swap to 06.

Even the exhaust systems from 99 will fit right up to 08.

2007 vs. 2006 stock exhaust?
thanks again -- i'm going to do the debaffle this weekend, but am nervous that my wife will think its too loud -- made the mistake of mentioning it to her rather than just doing it. there's a set of 2007 stock pipes available for cheap locally, in case i need to go back to stock . . . . she's not real convinced that loud pipes are a good thing, to say the least . . .

2007 vs. 2006 stock exhaust?
Hi.
The stock debaffle is not loud like aftermarket Vance and Hines. They give the bike a nice rumble and make the bike sound like a V Twin and not a Singer sewing machine. They are perfect for me. I had loud pipes on my last bike and the noise wore me out on a long trip. Dont bother with gutting the goatbelly. Too much work for a loss in performance and a sound I could not live with. |

The debaffle won't even wake your neighbors if you come in late at night. Just gives it a little more rumble. I personally like the sound of mine with the debaffle.
Ring, I never realized the exhaust from the 99 and 08 were interchangeable. That is something.
