woke up to 8 inches of wet snow this morning.temp has climbed all the way back up to 36 degrees this afternoon.it
just doesn't seem right to me.

Look on the bright side, global warming is real and you will be enjoying uncomfortably hot temps this summer.

We had snow here last week and the snowpack is still increasing. Good thing because it is in lousy shape right now. It's been so cold and wet that farmers have not started to irrigate yet so we are holding water in the reservoirs longer than normal.

No snow but it was 26 degrees here last night and with a hard frost. In the am I hope to get the green house tent set up, shouldn't be a problem. I am hoping for corn in mid August instead of mid Sept, but that will just have to be seen.

Landman and Bud, that is one of the benefits of living in our great west. Wish we could get at least one good snow per year.

We didn't have any snow but it sure felt like it could while it was raining yesterday a.m.. This is some exceptionally wierd weather we are having. We had freezing temps 7 of the first 10 days in May and we can probably make that 9 of the first 13 right now.

We had a killing frost again 2 nights back, and it burned the leaves on a beech tree in the middle of the field, and it made the strawberry flowers black in the yellow centers. I wonder if that means no strawberries from these blossoms.

Have a fishing tournament this weekend and I am going with my Coleman tent trailer. Weather forecast is for SNOW Sunday morning. AAACK.
