Another Tire Question
I know I know....
Here is the deal. I ordered another stock bridgestone from a local guy who claimed it would be in today....it is not and in fact won't be in, in time form my trip to Deals Gap.... So here is the question... My stock tire does not have ample thread to make this trip safely. The dealer has in stock an ME880...but it is a radial. Can I if I absolutely have to use the radial with the remaining front stock tire? Unfortunately I do not have the funds to replace both. What is the downside? Will I trash the Nomad somehow? Will I be ok? Thanks

It should be fine as far as being safe to ride on, but Id wait for the other tire as long as possible before I use the Metzeler.

Another Tire Question
I think I'd try to find a Dunlop or an Avon before I'd buy the ME880.

Another Tire Question
Radial rear bias ft is fine.....
Radial rear radial ft is fine.... What's not fine is bias rear and radial ft.. The problem with the metz is it is likely to be made in Brazil, which makes it junk. The oem tires are junk too. I would run with dunlop or avion too, if I did run a railar car tire on the read and a radial bike tire ft. Both Dunlop.

Ok
I had to go with the Metzler...ME880 Marathon. The stock tire was not in... Question, from reading other posts it seems as if Metzler went to Brazil... The tire I got on today says Made in Germany? Is it still from Brazil?

On the same topic. Can i mix tire brands without any adverse handling effects? Staying bias front and rear. I need a new front and don't want to put another stone on.

Another Tire Question
I just put a Dunlop on the front today and have a ME880 radial on the rear with lots of miles on it. Will be changing the back tire for a radial AVON or a CT. Found a 185/75/16 CT online that I am really considering putting on. Naturally my tire installer is one of those "You're gonna bust your a$$" guys.
