electrically challenged

Im putting some spot lights on my bike. Im going by gadgets directions.ive got my relay hooked up got my wire ran to the head light bucket. Im not installing a switch. I think the blue with yellow stripe is the hot wire when the switch is on. SO why am i running my wire from my relay to a hot wire when ive hooked my relay strait to the battery. What wire do i run from the bucket to the spots. As you can see im thoroughly confused. I think ive done a good job of confusing myself so please help.
