Heated Gloves
Thanks for the suggestion Wolfman!
Anyone ever try these: ![]() This is what the web site says about them....... Nordic Gear Gloves: Insulated Battery Operated Gloves LG-20 These Lectra Gloves by Nordic Gear were develped for extreme working environments where prolonged exposure can cause serious discomfort and injury. The Lectra Gloves are designed to keep your hands warm, but not hot. Use the electric heat only after you begin to feel cold. Maximum benefit will be obtained by turning the gloves on and off often. Do not allow the hands to become overheated. Keep spare batteries handy. The heating element is safely buried in a channel located in the palm area. Invisible to the wearer, the heating element is designed to warm the hand cavity and radiate out the fingers. These gloves are safe even when wet. The Nordic Gear gloves require "D" cell batteries. New "D" cell batteries will last 5-6 hours. Fully charged "D" cell recharged batteries will last 2-3 hours. If you are depending on these gloves for all day warmth then it is important to consider this. They are on sale for $23.75. John |

But wouldn't heated grips be a better idea, no batteries, and they are always there at the flick of a switch.

Heated Gloves
My wife has tried the battery operated gloves and she said that they do not keep her hands as warm as her Widder gloves. The batteries in the gloves make them very clumbersome.
They are very hard to turn off when you don't need them. She had to Flip the battery around or stick them in her pocket with the ones she had, there was no on & off. She really does like the widder gloves flip the switch and the gloves and vest are off when it gets too warm. We have rode in as cold as 25 degrees and she now has spare set of gloves just in case one goes bad. She has been using her gloves for 2 years now and they were used when we got them. We purchased the 2nd pair off of ebay. Hope this helps. If you are really interested inthe Nordic gloves we have a pair of them , they are a size large. They have only been worn a couple of times, they look bran new. let me know if you are interested? |

Sorry, I rely on body fat, leather and high exhaust temperatures to keep me and my hands warm. That's motorcycle combustion exhaust temps wise guy!

Heated Gloves
These are grip heaters a lot of guys use with good results.
http://www.pollyheaters.com/ph400.htm There are other brands also, such as heat demons, but they cost a lot more. I use a heater made by Symtec, it works, but not very well with the Kuryaken grips, It was made for stock thin rubber grips. http://www.casporttouring.com/store/...uct_code=16025
