Finally decided to cross over to the DARKSIDE...

After reading a ton of forum treads and watching videos on youtube i finally decided to cross over to the CT. I am going with the Goodyear Assurance TripleTred 205/60-16. I also need a new front tire and i was wondering if anyone can tell me what is a good match to run with my new rear CT?

I put the Avon Cobra on the front and I really liked it as a match with the CT. The Avon and the Dunlop E3 seem to be the most popular.

I forget what it is on ft, a Dunlop 251??? radial, matched to a Sp 5000 Dunlop CT on the rear. Seems great to me.

I just mounted that same Goodyear on mine a couple months ago with a Cobra on the front.
http://www.motoxoutlet.com < These folks here have the best deal on Cobras that I found.

Now, whether you need some advance advice or not, I'm gonna give it to you on mounting this one. :) Don't mount the final drive until you place the wheel under the fender, then place the final drive on the wheel hub and mate it to your swing arm. ONLY snug the the acorn nuts. Torque your axle nut first, and then you final drive nuts. Otherwise you'll pull your drive shaft tube into your tire.

As a matter of fact, thats a good procedure for any tire you mount on the rear.

I put an Avon Cobra on the front and a Continental Vanco2 195-65-16 CT on the rear a week ago yesterday.

I've got about 125 miles on them so far and really like the set up. On wet roads that rear tire throws a nice rooster tail and prevents tailgaters.............
