Old-School Seat

Here are a couple photos a local Nomad owner sent me recently. He is an Engineer for Boeing and likes to tinker with stuff.

He decided he wanted to build an old-school spring-style seat for his new Nomad. It took him several tries to get the spring right and other things, but he seems to like the current version.

Personally, I think the idea is awesome, but I'm not sure about the woodwork part of the mounting bracket. I'd also have a hard time getting my short leg over that thing as it seems to sit quite a bit higher than the stock seat! It probably feels pretty cushy though going down the road though... !

Anyways...pretty cool, so comment away on what you think!
