Spokane NW Motorcycle Show

Went to the Spokane- Northwest Motorcycle Show yesterday. Kicked a few tires, liked some of the "Adventure Sport" bikes (kinda thinking that would be fun). One vendor brought half-a-dozen Used bikes (Road Stars, VTX, ...) I thought that was a good idea, not everybody going to the shows can or wants to get into a New bike. I was trying to be a good Kawanow disciple and spread the word.... ran into a fellow Nomad rider who owns a 2008 Nomad, he intalled a Trunk and an HD Fairing, but had never heard of Kawanow... huh. Ran into a fellow Vulcan rider, to whom I shared my knowledge of the Cam Chain Extenders (which he was not aware of). All that to say, it's great to have this community of Kawa riders and friends.... Chris, I sure would liked to have been proudly wearing my NW Kawanow patch... hint, hint. or maybe I should just join CMA and convert souls.

Nice to have someone spreading the word about us...hope we hear from the guy! Not sure what to tell you on the patches. I know Utah Motorcyclist was working on getting some small patches for the regions, but I have not heard of any progress on that front.

Another one of our NW members has a custom made NW Patch. He bought the regular 10" KawaNOW patch and had the NW part added to the outer edge for a reasonable price. It looks great! I can get you the info of the gal who did it for him if you like.

I will also check with Trip and see if there is a chance we could get some Regional Patches made.... :-/.

Well...Trip just changed our Regional Logos. Not that they look bad or anything, but we do have somewhat of an investment in the old ones....so changing everything to the new will take some time and effort. I'm not gonna change the Rally logo though.....that can wait until 2011!

Sorry but I kinda like the old patch better.
Besides, I already had my patch made and sewing

I have to be honest here....I kind of liked the old ones better myself. The red, white and blue kind of clashes with the black/yellow of the main logo...but you gotta respect da boss if this is what he wishes to do....
