Metzeler rear size

I ordered the recommended rear size by Metzeler - 180/70R16.

Why would they not recommend the 170/70R16 stock size? Hope the larger tire makes my speedo more accurate!

I think they used to list the larger size as an upgrade a few years ago.

The larger size will reduce the speedo error some but will not eliminate it.

Good to hear the speedo is fixed somewhat. I was 10 km/h fast at 100 km/h. That would be 6 mph at 60 mph.

How's the ride with this tire? I also noticed the tire has a much flatter profile that the stock tire.

I tryed the 180 70r 15 on the rear of mine and didnt like it at all felt really unstable at higher speeds 75-85 mph so I went with WWW me 880 150 80 15 front and back and I love it. I would love to put radials front and back but I cant find them in the WWW.
