Engine Guard Chaps
Got these on sale on ebay for $29.95
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...sPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT I was surprised at the thickness. The have velcro straps that hold them on to the crash bar brackets. Their description is misleading. It says they have a pocket on the left crash bar but it doesn't. Still not a bad deal. Zoom45

I'm just not ready to move up to ready made high society. I zip tied the ones I made last year back on.

After seeing the Airlite chaps I knew those were the ones I wanted. I think they are great, made a lot of difference in the cold temps, haven't tried them in the rain yet.

They are made by the same company (bestem) I got my saddlebag liners from and they are great! Can't tell them apart from the Kawa bags; padded lining, pockets, emblem and still look like new after a season of pretty good use.
They are a little more expensive than the liners I have seen here that have the embroidery on them but well worth it in my book just to be able to keep things better organized. See them here as $20 less than I paid for them: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Kawas...Q5fAccessories |

I too have Airlites. I prefer the way they attach, there is no flapping in the breeze, they are snug, and there is no way for air or water to slip between the frame and the chap/crash bar. Check out Airlites and you'll see why that's what a lot of us have.
