Yet Another Hand Gaurd Option

First of all, let me say I'm not trying to steal netnorske's thunder concerning his latest Hand Protection Device find, but in my quest to find the most expensive option possible concerning a given modification or accessory, I came across this option, listed on one of those 'other' forums. Something about sport-touring bikes or something....

I know nothing about them... they look like they'd offer the least protection of all, but you WOULD have cool LED lights!

Bill,

You rag on me about it so much, I just have to point out that if you are really seeking the most expensive option for hand protection, as you say, then this easily beats the one you found:

(Although a Wing or voyager would even top that!)

Yet Another Hand Gaurd Option

I work for a municipality and I was in our mechanics shop the other day. Part of their jobs is to work on all the police bikes (HD's). There were four bikes in the shop and a couple of the motor cops were there too. All of the bikes had these big winter gauntlets on them that were the real deal for keeping your hands warm.

These things covered the entire bar from the windshield out. When you stick your arms into them they went up to your elbow! They are like "Moose Paws" on steroids . They are the total sh*t! They have a little velcro slot for the mirror to fit through and a big strap to hold'em on near the windshield.

I asked where they get them and they told me...but now I can't remember. Somewhere out of Oregon. I will get the name again and write it down. They told me they run about $250.00 per pair....but you would only buy them once and ride all winter in total comfort. I'll update when I have all the info....

Yes, but do they have an LED option?????

That's an impressive price. I guess you really can spend more than $125.00 on hand-warming accesories. I suppose one would want heated grips, too, just to cover all the bases? lol UFF DA!

Here they are. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on these too.
Scroll down the page and click on the photos.

How about these: http://www.motorcycleaccessoriesunli..._41234843.html Same plan just a slightly different look. Personally I would rather sit by the fire.
