This kind of thing is very hard on active duty officers and their families. Sensless loss of co-workers and friends is difficult to deal with. We need to pray for the department and the families who lost loved ones.

I watched Hukabee's interview with Bill O'Reiley last night. Although he takes full responsibility for commuting this dirt bags sentence, it was on the recommendation from the Arkansas parole board and the judge who sentenced him in the first place. It's a travesty that several have on their conscious now.

I think they were 100% certain. They weren't saying much during the manhunt but I'm sure we will learn more now. Someone had to have identified him for for them to zero in on him the way they did. Good riddance and no taxpayer burden to try him and hold him for life or until his execution.

A sole Seattle officer checking out a stolen vehicle noticed movement behind him, apparently sneaking up on him. He turned and recognized the wanted man and ordered him several times to stop and show his hands, when the guy did niether, the officer shot him dead.

The suspect was found with the pistol of one of the officers he had executed the day prior. The NAACP will probably have a field day on the officer who shot the guy, but they need to pick their battles. Defending a worthless cop-killing waste of humanity such as this guy isn't one of'em. JMHO.

What a senseless tragedy. My heart goes out to all the families and the law enforcement community as well for their loss.

This could have resulted in another LEO killing. Thankfully he was well trained and alert to his surroundings. Another slimeball bites the dust. This at least will provide a small amount of closure to the families of the slain officers and their fellow officers. My prayers go out to all.

I liked Huckabee to this point, but no more.. I read all that he stated on this topic so far and understand a paroll board voted on this 5/0 and that Huckabee followed the reccomendations, to write the guy off with a 47 year sentace..

Just the same if he is going to take 'full responcibility' he needs to go serve the rest of the term behind bars.

It was a similar situation when I was forced to shoot a bad guy circa 1982. The paroll boards had released a con previously convicted multiples of times, and was WANTED for 6 more crominal violations all having to do with violence and drugs...

Huckabee's words I find quite hollow...

Justice was served in a small portion...

The villian is dead, as he should be without question; however the families, friends, and community remain with their loss forever.

If this incident causes anyone to rise-up and clain "injustice"... I promise I will personally go nuts on them.
