Can I add spotlights to the existing bar?

If tis is already posted I appologise but I am not very good with the search function here.

Are there spotlights that I can clamp to the existing bar that holds my turnsignals without a bunch of fabrication? I realy don't want to spend a ton of money putting a light bar on. This is for my 04 Nomad 1500fi

Thanks

There's nothing pre-made for this, but you should be able to engineer something to fill the bill.

P clamps and a pair of lamps will do it with some wiring.. There isn't great support out there, so smaller lamps might do it. The types found in walley world.

I use that type mounted on the 'lowers' bottom bolt. I have a Cobra bar with yellow fog lamps as well. I'll see if I can dig up a pic.

See if you can avoid the custom fender work...

Dont add big spots to the stock bar, its flimsy. use little ones as mac suggested.

P Clamps are the way to go IMO.. A solid mount is the frame or ceash bars.. I have Kuryakyn 1.35 P clamps on the frame for my spots,,,,,,, Rich

I have kuryakin silver bullet lights with p-clamps on the turn signal bar and it works great. i like it because of the small lights. They are very bright. i wired them to come on with the ignition so they stay on when my headlight is on low or high. Try this link.

That's what I have.....I would recommend going ahead and taking 5 minutes to run seperate ground wires to one of the bolts in the H/L bucket from your p-clamp vs. trying to ground through the existing signal bar though. Eventually that ground seems to become unstable I guess due to being rubber mounted. You may start getting a constant varying broken/active connection from vibration which I suspect is the reason a few have had reported blowing a fuse occasionally with this setup. I blew one and since installing a real ground wire have had zero issues.
