What is an "invisible user"?

I have noticed in the stats at the bottom of the board that sometimes there are "invisible users" logged on. What in the world is that?

In your profile you can choose to be invisible.
This means when you are logged on your name will not show up in the group at the bottom of the homepage.
In your case, when you logon dougster shows in the group at the bottom.
If you chose the invisible setting, then you would be listed as an invisible user and I believe under your avatar you would be listed as off line.
