Indians are on Sale

The new Indians have only been out a few months and they are haveing a spring sale to reduce inventory. Ive always liked the look of them but for some reason they are always having an uphill struggle keeping the company going. They are rather pricey, but they do cater to the more discriminating rider according to themselves.

You answered your own question. I can think of another company selling overpriced motorcycles that is struggling as well. People can't afford them right now.

They are still too damn expensive and the engine is still an HD derivative. You can buy two nomads for what one of those bikes cost.

I really like the turquoise/white, but I'd be happy with a Kaw. drifter

Wow, they must really be desperate for a sale. Further in the article it talks about how they'll pay for your airfare and a hotel room if you purchase a bike from them.

Still one of my favorite old-school bikes though. But you guys are right; awfully expensive for what you get. Seems Indian has always had bad timing throughout its history.

I'm with Fish on this one. Keep the Nomad and buy a Drifter for a second bike

Me too ;) I always liked the look of the drifters , and the savings over a real Indian.

I like the Chief Vintage in red/cream, but like anyone else, I'd rather have my Nomad and another bike, even another Nomad, for the same $$.

MAYBE if I won the lottery.....

:-)

Yeap, they have gone from too expensive to still too expensive...
They are nice looking bikes, but not for that price.

First thing I'd do is take a knife to all that fringe on the seat and saddlebags.

He could put it in a pot and cook up a pretty good stew.

I'd use it to line your cage.
