Good day to all: My question is , I,ve a "99" nomad and want to put a Thunder dash ignition on. Should I use a inline fuse, if so what size and what colour wire does it go on. ( barry.kerrigan@yahoo.com)

The real question is will you be back to read any reply?
You will need to add to the wires you already have, which are already fused.. There will be more than 1 wire.

Take a look at Gadgets sight, I think he explains how to install a new switch.

When I see a name like that I get the idea the poster will never be back.
When I see a name like mdl12 I am sure the guy will be back, and we can talk about Winchester Shot guns. ![]()

Your subject is ambiguous. Do you mean a new ignition (wires/coils/etc) or a new ignition switch? I am presuming you have a 1500 with the side mounted switch and wish to move it up top, similar to the 1600?

Yes ,that is what I'm hoping to do. But I read where others have fried their wiring harnesses, screwed up their tail lights.
