Made it Home

Crystal and I got home around noon. As usual, we had a great time.
Well over 200 people attended the combined rally.
Thanks to all of them for fitting it in to their schedule.

Let us know you made it home safely.

We pulled in about 11:00 this morning. I had a great time and sorry I didn't get around to everybody. Arkansas has some nice roads and scenery! I enjoyed every bit of it!

Thanks to the planners for putting this event together. The Kawasaki staff were just as nice as they could be and I had a long conversation with "Chigger" before he and his wife left. They really unwound after all his work was done.

I wish we all could afford to do this three or four times a year!

Diana and I arrived home around 4:00 pm yesterday (7/2/15). We had a blast of a time. We enjoyed meeting everyone, seeing old friends and making new ones. I think the rally was planed and executed very well, especially considering the number of attendees. When we left the rally, we went up to visit family in Missouri near Joplin, Then went into Kansas, down thru Oklahoma, down to Port Author TX to visit more family. We left there and went around the Gulf coast to Pensacola FL, spent a couple days site seeing, then headed home. We were very fortunate in staying dry, we only ran into rain once and that was in Missouri. Total of 3,008 miles, and of that only about 25 was in rain.
Looking forward to the next one!

My wife and took off for Custer SD with Gibby and Ray stopping in Nebraska for the night before continuing on the next day. T Ross road with us until KC before he split off for Des Moines. We met Ruth Noel Burks in Custer and spent we couple days being guided by them in the area specially after Ray and Gibby left for home on Tuesday. Cecilia and I left Custer on Thursday for Sioux Falls SD and met up with a friend before heading home the following morning. 3634 miles and two plugs in the rear tire later we made it home Friday evening. Had a great time at the rally faces to names and seeing friends again as well as making new ones. Thanks to Bud2rat, my wife and I were able to the banquet dinner which was a very nice meal. Thank you Robert for the tickets. As mentioned the rally was very well organized and it was fun to be there
