Practical

Not overly concerned with image

Not gullible with regards to advertising slogans such as truth distilled etc.

Not likely to buy expensive T Shirts in every new city visited

Not likely to buy something based on what the neighbor thinks of it

A person who buys motorcycles to ride them

A race on Star Trek. Mr. Spock is half Vulcan, half human. When I got my Nomad, my brother who has a Mean Streak said "Welcome to Vulcan, live long and prosper." ;-)

Dont forget the Vulcan-ized rubber process..... and combined with Nomad... guess that means Vulcan Nomad AKA wandering processed rubber with pointy ears and a hammer in hand to keep the 6 barrels rotating on the gun on the personnel carrier design...
Wow I didnt realize going from my 98 vulcan to 08 nomad would be so complexed.

There is a little town in Missouri named Vulcan also. And there is a jet called the vulcan. But the name vulcan to me means freedom. I had a Vulcan 1500 FI when I retired and it sure helped with the transition from grindstone to the pavement.
