There are no words...

"All,

I think a lot of you know my Uncle Charles Burt. I have just been informed
while he was almost home back in Texas from his multi state tour, he was on
his last leg when he changed lanes to the right lane due to a car stopping
in front of him and he ran into the back of a dump truck parked in the right
lane. According to the trooper he died instantly."

Just to clarify, I copied Tony Ds post. He's not my uncle, but an online friend who will surely be missed. Prayers out to his family.

What a shame. I have been reading his posts on various forums for quite awhile. I did not know him personally. I know he was big on both the VROC and Delphi forums. I'm so sorry to hear about this.

Edit: I didn't make the connection until BD mentioned it in his post. I don't know what to say for once.

Correct me if I'm wrong, AG - but he isn't TonyD's uncle either. Tony was posting an email from Michael Harrelson. I think I have it right now.

For those who don't know Chuck. He goes by txcwdancer here on KawaNOW. Chuck is a fellow staff member. Trip and I found out early this morning and were waiting for his family to be notified before we posted it here.

As a fellow staff member I've been in shock all day over this. He is a good riding buddy of Trips and I don't have the words for him. I'm speechless.

Sorry for the confusion all. I'm just kind of reeling. Although I can't say I knew him well, I knew him well enough to know he was a good guy and I for one will miss his posts and blogs.

I found out about Chuck "txcwdancer" Burt at lunch today. I've been wrestling with it all day. I didn't want to say anything on KawaNOW until I knew the family was notified. Chuck and I have ridden together on many trips. Chuck was a fellow rider, a staff member here on KawaNOW and a good friend.

When we found out about it, we weren't sure it was Chuck, but after several Austin Texas VROC members made some phone calls, we finally came to the realization that it was indeed Chuck. I've been in a funk all day long over this. My prayers go out to his family.

Chuck was within 20 miles of getting home on a trip to Idaho and Oregon.
