Speedo wiring plug

I need the wiring plug for the speedo unit (speedo side) plus the terminals. Does anyone know a source for it and/or the name of it (Sumitomo, etc) so I can search for it? I'm not going to cut any wires.

I think he wants to make an adapter so he doesn't have to hack into his speedo wiring harness.

Ive seen wiring harnesses selling on Ebay, but I don't really think you need one. Just splice into the existing wires, you can always undo your work if it doesn't work correctly.

I thought about that but I'm planning this in stages so I'll plug/unplug this a few times. Besides, crimping has less chance of screwing up. If I splice into the existing wiring and I need to move/remove the wire, I've left an exposed wire. I hate electrical tape. It never holds and it's messy.

I dont know which connector the speedo uses. What is everywhere else can be disassembled with a small flathead screwdriver inserted from the connection side. Once you pull the desired wire you can wrap 22 gauge around it and reinsert.

I too would like to know a source for these connectors.

That's a photo of BD's 'boom box' when he was the DJ at the girl scout jamboree at Mt. Shasta August 1981.
My sister sent me a copy of that photo from the local newspaper, when she was living in Redding. The
article said he donated his time for the event, what nice young man.
