Rear turn/run/brake
I was wondering if anyone recognizes this set up on my rear turn signal, I don't think it is stock and I need to replace the LEDs on one side. It was on the bike when I bought it and I have no idea who makes it.

Rear turn/run/brake
Does anyone know who makes this set up? Are the leds an add on to the stock turn signals? Or is the entire housing an after market part?

I have somthing similar on my Drifter. They came on it when I bought it new.
Some one on here told me where to find them but I forget now. Maybe they will chime in when they see this post.

They are definatly not original equipment.
I will start looking for them on line and see what I can come up with. Are you looking to replace the whole setup or just the LEDs on the side that is not working. My setup on he Drifter are a complete circle not half circles like your are.

Rear turn/run/brake
I bought one from "No Pork". They leds I have are for brake light (red) and running lights. Running lights and brake lights are controlled via a resistor on one power lead (running lights = lower voltage)
and a diode (prevents back feed of voltage on leads that provides brake light power) . You might have wiring that has come loose under the fender, just a guess. Here is a link to the ones I have. http://www.nopork.com/shop_product.a...grp=electrical

They are very similar to these I have on my bike: http://home.insightbb.com/~kpmh.005/N-Elec-Connct.htm They are from electrical connection and I think are really supposed to be glued to the inside of the lens. The older models used to be half circles, I think. I have had to replace one of the LED circles. They will send you one pretty quickly. Cost me around $25 I believe. http://www.electricalconnection.com/...g/tsk-stem.htm Hope this helps, Pete |
