Question
Do any of you own Frog Togg brand rain gear?
If so which style? Do you like? Are they really 100% rain proof? Are they a pain to take off or put on? Thanks

Question
I use a Frogg Togg and it is pretty much rain proof. It is a loose fitting type. Pull the pants over your pants and it has a draw string type thing on the bottome of the pants that you tighten to keep water from going up the leg. The top pulls over your shirt and zips. Also has the draw string at the bottom of the sleeves. It has worked really good for me on a couple of occasions.

Question
I have the frogg toggs and they work fairly well. they pack up nice and small. been thinkin of upgrading to the road toggs, from what i hear they are a lil better. just be careful with them against your pipes, they melt very easily.

Question
I have frotogs also. They are a good value(why I have them) but they are susceptible to scorching on pipes so be careful especially if you have aftermarket pipe. They are a pull on pant with elastic cuffs and don't cover your boot so you get wet feet and wet pant cuffs and unless you do something like wear rain covers for your boots. I have a set of rain gators that I put on if it looks like possible rain and I wear them under rain pants in heavy rain. Rain gators are a good investment. Jacket setup is zipper with elastic cuffs. Again if your hands get wet so do your sleeve cuffs. Some times I also get a little rain on my neck but that is due to style of helmet as much as Frogtog.
Other wise they are the rain gear of choice for people that are not rain riding fanatics. If you are a fanatic then there are better setups like one piece suits that have footies ect...

Question
I just bought myself a new set of Frogg Toggs Road Toads. The Road Toads are designed for riders, they are cut bigger to fit over jackets/chaps and are easy to put on while wearing boots. They have a hood, but you can roll it up and store it in the collar.
This is my second set, I wore the first set out. They work great! They are breathable, so you don't get a lot of condensation from sweating in them. I paid $59.99 for mine at Cabela's.

Question
I have them and like them better than the other brands I have owned over the years. I agree that the Road Toads version seem to be a bit better for riding, and am considering them next time. I believe that version has some heat resistant material on the legs, and the zippers seem a bit sturdier. I do tend to get wet around the openings after riding for a long time in hard rains, but it is a lot better than not having any. It seems that most of the riding in rain on the road is in and out of deluges. The breathablility of them helps stay comfortable in between the hard showers.

Question
I have a set of frogg toggs, but not sure which ones. The ones i have are a bright fluorescent green, you can see me coming :-) Like others have said they are quite easy to put on and do a good job keeping me dry and the best part is you don't sweat in them the same as a rubber or vinyl rain suit. On a warm day you will still trap the heat, but not as bad as with other rain suits. They pack up quite small and have a permanent home in my right saddlebag. For the $60 Canadian that I paid for them I think they are worth every penny and will buy them again when the time comes.
One piece of advice that was given to me buy the person I bought them from was to just stuff them into the sack and not fold them neatly. He said if you keep folding them in the same creases they will wear quicker along the crease marks. Not sure if that is true or not, but I stuff mine in the sack and have had them for 4 years now and no issues.

Question
I have a set of Frog Toggs as well had them for quite a few years now. Since 04? They fit over my jacket and riding pants. Mine were a discontinued (now) colour which actually matches my bike
![]() Now they come with reflective piping/stripes and are well worth it. Also check the seller for the tape they offer to protect against the pipe melting. Good investment and cheap insurance against those dark cloudy days ;) Like an umbrella, if you don't have one, you'll get wet!!! If you do it likely won't rain!!!! ;) Scott

Question
Mine kept me dry and relatively warm as I went over a 10,000 foot pass in really crappy rain and snow.
