Ride to Antlers from Pittsburg, KS

Bil (usranger) and I are planning on meeting Tuesday evening for the ride on down to Antler's on the 29th.

I'm thinking we can pick up Griz In Pittsburg and maybe Don, Jesse and others from the OK/AR area as we cross into OK. We could even head over into Arkansas if anyone is interested in that.

If you guys are interested lets try and work out a good route. I don't think we want to ride all the same roads that Victor has planned for our other trips, but some overlap is probably okay.
69S to Indian Nation Turnpike is probably the most direct route around 5:15 plus stops. There is a bit of interesting scenery along here, but hopefully the residents will have some better suggestions.

I would like to ride with you guys. The route is irrelevant, I'll be watching the thread to keep up with route and timing, I don't think either will be an issue.

Glen, while we are there, we need to ride south a few miles and get Texas colored in. It sure looks odd down there, especially since we will be so close. I know of another if we can talk him into going, its really not that far.

Yeah, I looked at Victor's itinerary and saw that casino he was planning on is probably less than 5 miles from Texas. I told Ann we were riding South a bit past that turn off and coloring it in.

Is the casino in Paris, TX? We ride through Paris on our way up.

Grant, OK. We may just run down to Paris so it seems a little more legit to color in such a big state. :) I'm sure we'll get back down there again (at least in 2012 for the Keys run).

Back to the original subject - Griz pm'd that he and his friend would be joining up in Pittsburg, so we have five bikes so far with Jesse, Bill and myself.

Don, DaveJ, B-Man, care to try and connect? Gene, looks like it might be a bit out of your way, but we'd be glad to have you along for the ride as well. Jim and Liz, I'm sure you are probably coming down through AR and have your route planned already, but if you'd like to join up, you guys are always welcome.

I tried to get everybody from the thread Attendance thread that lives in OK/AR (at least as far as I could tell). If I missed anybody, just post up on here and we'll try to connect.

What's sad is that we spent the night in Council Bluffs on this trip. If we would have just crossed the river and had dinner in Omaha, we could have colored it in.

Our last trip we went to SE Missouri. I thought about heading out to see Carhenge instead but that looked to be a bit of a long ride for two days. Ann says she wouldn't mind seeing the zoo sometime so we may hit up Omaha before long. You'll have to share some of the areas you like to ride in Nebraska.

Glenn,
I think you guys will be going a bit to far west for me to meet up.
I too am planning on riding down into Texas and would like to tag along when you go. I know what you mean about not riding the same routes as Victor has planned but since work has me on those roads all the time anyway (but not on the nomad) I'll probably just take 271 out of Poteau to Antlers.
