I Met "Big Daddy" Don Garlits Today (PICS)

It was the 50th anniversary of the local track Island Dragway in Great Meadows, NJ. Big Daddy was the first to break the 200MPH mark and he did it at Island Drags.

Lots of nice shots here I wanted to share with you gearheads. 8)

Those were some neat pics, I used to drag race back in the 70's and I have a pic of Don Garlits on my office wall.

Beez, if you ever get down this way, I'll take you to his museum over in Ocala. He is a nice guy for sure. I met him at the museum one time.
