Hiding close by with a 357 Mag will work

Motorcycle Alarm systems
I was thinking about one of those that has the pager system that works about a 1/4 mile off. That way my "220 swift "would be about right. Set it to wake me up in time
Seriously though, has anyone used the " Internatrix" system. It is a pager type and reasonable cost. about $150 with warn away feature. The scorpi system looks good but it is pricey Shep |

Oh, you wanted to be serious :-[
None of the guys who I ride with have alarm systems. If we feel it necessary, we run a cable through the frame and lock it to something near by that we feel is secure. I only do this on trips while staying overnight in motels. At other times I'm not worried about somebody stealing my bike. JMO

I don't have an alarm system, but have the digital guard dawg starter interrupt system. You install a relay that keeps the starter from working unless the "dawg tag" is within 10 ft. of the bike. This won't keep someone from rolling the bike away, but they won't be able to start it and drive away. http://www.digitalguarddawg.com/ If you lock the steering and have the guard dawg, the bike is pretty secure.

I try to always park by the office at a motel. If that is not possible then next to something secure for my cable lock and also lock the forks.I have thought though that an alarm would be nice.

Motorcycle Alarm systems
Thanks folks.
I am not worried about the Nad when it is at home. It's locked up in my workshop. Several friends and I are planning a cross country trip this summer, probably to Yellowstone. Plan on being out 8-10 days and I am somewhat concerned about security at motels. Shep |

JUST DID THAT THIS LAST SUMMER ON THE WING. NO PROBLEM, ALL THE WAY OUT AND BACK. JUST PICK MOTELS THAT YOU CAN PARK IN FRONT OF YOUR ROOM.

Funny I started a thread back when this forum started up about alarms and nobody wanted to talk, got about 4 responses. Now everybody wants one. Funny. I bought the scorpio from the kawa dealer and have been pleased so far. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
