I sure wouldn't think so....the '02 is a 1500 and the '05 is a 1600.

The pipes are the same, and will fit. A few here have switched pipes from a 1500 to a 1600.

One thing that I have been looking for is an audio file of a before and after sound. The Bafflectomy is something that I have been debating on wether or not to do, my wife likes the loud sound, I like it load but only when getting on the trottle, not very load when cruising down the expressway. To me, part of touring is being able to hear what is going on around you, including the person (wife) sitting on the back (though sometimes I would rather not hear her :) ).

Is it load at idol. If it weren't so damn expensive to do the stage kit and put aftermarket pipes on I would, so the Bafflectomy is my other option.

Brian , Chances are you will need a Cobra, or TFI fuel modual, for just yanking baffels, and you may notice some loss of power at low rpm...

Maybe not, but many of these bikes ping dead stock, and if yours does not , it might once you do this.
