I went ice fishing this morning and this afternoon we went for a 45 mile ride

bikes were everywhere I even had two damn bugs hit the shield

YO BD did. Like an idiot I rode down the freeway with my left saddlebag open; no key fortunately and it was closed when I took off!!! I have no idea why it was open. Freeked me out when a cager pulled up next to me and pointed at the back end of my Nomad. I looked down to the left and thought WTF is THAT all about! Fortunately the webbed part held my registration papers and other crap intact without flying out!! Pissed me off to no end!

Snowed here today. No riding for me. :(
It quit after about 3 hours, but is cold. Be back in the 60s in a few days.

My wife and I did. I worked from midnight to 7:00am, went to bed at 8:00, wife awoke me at 11:30 am and we left about 12 noon. Got up to 75 degree in North Arkansas today but the wind was gusting up to 30mph. We rode 174 mile RT. Left home rode thru Black Rock, Hardy AR, stopped at Bob & Sandy's and ate BBQ. Went thru Highland, Ashflat, Evening Shade, Cave City, Strawberry, Lynn, Powhatan, back to Black Rock, then back home. This was our first ride since December 30th, felt good to get out and ride, hardly notice the heavy winds except once when I topped a hill and a gust caught my helmet and started stretching my neck. Come on June.........

I took my first pleasure drive up to Hanover, PA.

I felt like a stripper -- let me re-phrase that -- I felt like how I think a stripper must feel.

I rode about 20 minutes before I had to get gas. I took my gloves off. My hands were beginning to sweat.

I stopped at a Kaw dealership to look around. I took the liner out of my leather jacket and opened all the zippers.

I stopped at a CB place to find out why my unit wasn't working as well as it was on the Classic. To test a new antenna, I had to drive down the road a bit-- in my t-shirt.

I'm sure there was a car of hot babes with lots of singles in their hands that was following me. (yea, right).

After 11 degrees earlier in the week, this felt like mid-summer. About 100 miles, just cruising.

we got out the nomad and road around 80miles had a good time. the wife and I are taking off in the morning before the rain shows up (late afternoon) just to go ride some back roads got to enjoy it while we can, until summer fully shows up.

I rode a couple hundred miles today and went to vist one of my fav bike shops S&G cycles in columbia Tenn. If you have not been its well worth the price of admission ($0) :)

ME!!!! This is the earliest I've gotten the bike out of the garage since moving here 3 1/2 yearrs ago. It felt good!! Tested the new helmet speakers and the GPS w/ built in MP3 player. Could be louder but, good enough. The most important thing was: I WAS RIDING!!! Got a wake up call though. Accelerated just a bit too fast coming out of a parking area....It wasn't swept or washed down. Got the back end just a little loose. Thankfully, I'm pretty good with skids and slides. That little bit of skill came in handy just about then.

Ahhh, the bike is resting comfortably in the garage and I, on the couch. Spring has sprung in the North East and I, for one, am happy. Good riding everyone, be safe and be careful.

I did. Loaded up the trailer with gifts and attended my 1 yr old grandson's BD party. 120 mile round trip. Beautiful day but did the bugs get bad after dark. Something we live with down here as soon as it starts warming up. My baby will need a good washing tomorrow.

I'm a "southern folk." I guess it doesn't count that I bought my Nomad on January 10th (this year!) and hit 2500 miles today....
