Finally figured it out!

Man, it took me a while but I finally figured out how to put pics under my posts and how to put a pic in my avatar. Just bought her Saturday and have rode her at least an hour and a half every day since. I love it. Gonna take a while to get used to my monster's size and weight. But I'm getting better every day. Pic on the left is my bike in front of my garage that I built. I guess it helps that I build houses for a living. All I got to pay for is materials. The Mrs and I park our crew cab trucks on the left and you probably know what that door is on the right, the main reason I built the garage and the reason I was a few weeks late getting my nad. She has her own bike station (you can see her tracks on the right). And the other pic is me going out on my first ride. It was in the high 30's, windy and raining slightly, I still managed to put 75 miles on her the first day. That's a cattle gap I'm fixing to cross and, yes, those are horses and cows I'm gonna have to dodge when I cross it. I got about 1/4 mile of gravel road before I get to pavement. But, I wouldn't live anywhere else. I'm on a dead end road and it's peaceful and quiet. My wife has worked full-time at a bank for 25 years, builds pottery in her spare time (it's become another full-time job, but she loves it) and she loves horses. Check out her website at Lapottery.net. I build houses in a family-owned business and now I got what I always wanted. And, if you wondered, yes, I was scared as hell that first day. Jamie

I bought mine last February and it was 32 degrees when I test drove it in a theater parking lot with the wind blowing 20 mph. She drove and handled so god for such a big bike I didn't notice the pinging. I just knew I had a jewel! Take my word as well as everybody else, do the caddmann kit and the TFI it's well worth you money and effort. On top of that there's a lot of support here

Jamie;

That's a great feeling... and the best thing is that it only gets better.

Welcome aboard... enjoy yourself... and ride safe.

PS: I am going to ck-out your wife's website. My older brother was a ceramist (sp?) also. I lost him to brain cancer two years ago; but I have always appreciated the art because of him introducing it to me.

Hey Jamie,
Great looking Nomad (black too). Maybe we can meet and ride some this year (I'm in Terry, MS). Are you going to go to Eureka Springs in May?
